Boys and Girls U18 Indoor Schools Tournament

Repton School made it a double victory in the U18 Indoor Schools Qualifying Tournament as they overcame strong competition in both genders, to qualify for the national finals.

In the girls tournament, held at Repton, Repton School ran out 2-1 winners over Loughborough High School in the final, after some close semi-final games between Loughborough High School, Oakham, Repton and RGS Worcester.

In total eight schools qualified for the Midlands finals day with other representatives being Bromsgrove, Kings Worcester, Oundle, and Malvern schools.

For the boys U18 tournament, also held at Repton, the qualifying schools were KES Birmingham, Repton, Oakham, Malvern, Worksop College, Rugby, Uppingham and Bromsgrove.

Again it was a tough tournament, and after the semi-finals between Repton, Rugby, Worksop College and Oakham, Repton beat Worksop College to secure their progression.

A huge well done to all the schools who qualified for the Midlands finals, good luck to Repton School U18 Boys and Girls in the national finals, and thank you to everyone involved in organising and officiating.
