How does the Midlands Area differ from the old Midlands Region?

From August 2021 in the Midlands Area has been responsible for:
- Adult Leagues & Competitions
- Junior Leagues & Competitions
- Schools Competitions
- Masters Leagues & Competitions
- Officiating

COUNTIES HOCKEY
Across the Midlands Area there are eight counties defined by local geography and delivering a range of activity including local school and club competitions, and representative hockey at Junior and Masters level.
Counties are represented at Area level on the Junior League and Competition Committee. They are voting members of both England Hockey and their respective Area.
